We're based in Mabank, Texas, and most of our work is on Cedar Creek Lake or in the towns that ring it. Outdoor living projects across the surrounding East Texas area are typically within an hour's drive — close enough to be on-site quickly when the work calls for it.
On Cedar Creek Lake
Cedar Creek Lake is the heart of our market. The lots around it ask for the specific kind of work we do — lakeside hardscape, masonry that handles waterfront cycles, fire features sited around the view. Two decades of doing it shapes how we read these properties.
Mabank
We're based here. Mabank's mix of established homes and newer lake developments means we work across a range of property types — rebuilding a chimney on an older farmhouse, designing a full outdoor kitchen for a new build overlooking the water. We're a phone call and ten minutes away.
Gun Barrel City
Most of our Gun Barrel City work is on lakefront and second-row lake lots. The grade changes and waterfront exposure on these properties are exactly the kind of site that benefits from real masonry retaining walls and lakeside-tested stone.
Tool
Tool sits right on Cedar Creek Lake and we are out here regularly — fireplaces, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls on sloped lakefront lots.
Seven Points
On the south side of Cedar Creek Lake. Mixed-age lake homes that often want a refresh of older masonry alongside new outdoor living features. We've done both on the same property.
Kemp
Both lake and farmland properties around Kemp. Outdoor living projects here often blend a working ranch-style aesthetic with the polish of a lake-house build.
Payne Springs
Quieter pocket of the Cedar Creek market with great lake access. Pergolas, fire features, and lakeside path lighting are our most common Payne Springs projects.
Also on or near the lake: Log Cabin · Caney City · Enchanted Oaks. The towns ringing Cedar Creek. We're out here regularly — fire feature builds, pergola installs, retaining walls on sloping lots, kitchen builds for the lake houses.
Nearby East Texas towns
Outside the immediate Cedar Creek market but still our regular territory. East Texas towns with their own character — and homeowners who want real masonry, not pre-fab. Drive time from Mabank is typically under an hour.
Athens
About thirty-five minutes east of Mabank. Athens projects tend to be larger lots with room for full outdoor living builds — kitchen, fireplace, and pergola designed together.
Malakoff
Just up the road. Malakoff work is split between historic homes that want masonry repair done right and newer builds wanting a full outdoor living plan.
Eustace
Northeast of the lake. We work Eustace properties for the same reason we work the rest of the area — homeowners who want real masonry and lasting outdoor living, not pre-fab.
