East Texas Outdoor Living is a family-owned and family-operated company based in Mabank, Texas, with more than twenty years of experience in construction services. We build outdoor living spaces — masonry, kitchens, fire features, structures, walls, and lighting — for homes on Cedar Creek Lake and across the surrounding East Texas region.
Who we are
We don't have a flashy out-of-state portfolio. We have a business in Mabank, two decades of work along the lake, and a craft we've been passing down inside our family the whole time. Most of what we build — masonry, fire features, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, walls, and lighting — is the kind of work that's measured by what it looks like in ten years, not in a showroom photo.
The reason to hire us isn't the brochure. It's that the same family answers the phone, walks the site, and lays the stone. Every job has our name on it.
How we work
Calm conversations, real samples on the property at design, weekly check-ins during the build, and a proper walkthrough at the end. We don't rush masonry — mortar cures on its own schedule, and the difference between a wall that lasts thirty years and one that fails in five is usually a few days of patience at the right moment.
When you walk through the finished space, we'll explain how the fire feature cures, how the lighting controls work, and what the stone needs in the way of maintenance. You should leave the walkthrough knowing your space.
