About East Texas Outdoor Living

Family-Owned Outdoor Living Contractor in Mabank, TX

We’re family-owned and -operated out of Mabank, with two decades of construction work along Cedar Creek Lake and the East Texas towns around it. The person who answers the phone is the person who walks your property and the person who lays the stone.

We build for how a lakefront property actually lives — the heat, the humidity, the slope down to the water, the way the light falls in the evening. Masonry first, then everything that lands on it: kitchens, fire features, structures, hardscape, and the lighting that turns it on after sundown.

Masonry & Stonework Contractor in Mabank, TX

Masonry and stonework are the foundation of every outdoor build we do. From hand-laid stone walls and brick installation to block work, stucco, and repair of existing masonry, we shape the structure of an outdoor space first — then everything else lands on top. Twenty years of work along Cedar Creek Lake.

Custom Stone Fireplaces & Fire Pits in East Texas

Fire is the centerpiece of an East Texas outdoor space. We build full stone fireplaces and lower-profile firepits — masonry from foundation to chimney, sized for the space and the weather. Wood-burning or gas, sit-and-watch or cook-over, free-standing or built into a covered patio. The element that holds an evening together.

Pergolas, Gazebos & Carports in Cedar Creek Lake, TX

Pergolas, gazebos, and carports — the structural pieces that make an outdoor space usable in any weather. We build them with the same masonry-first thinking that runs through the rest of our work: real posts on real footings, joinery that lasts, and finish details sized to the home, not a kit.

Retaining Walls & Hardscape in East Texas

Retaining walls and hardscape are the bones of a working outdoor space — they hold the slope, define the patio, and turn an awkward lot into a usable one. We build walls in real brick and stone with proper drainage, footings, and reinforcement. Lakefront grade changes are our daily problem.

Outdoor LED Lighting in Cedar Creek Lake, TX

Outdoor lighting turns a finished space into one that works after dark — which, on Cedar Creek Lake, is most of the year. We design and install LED lighting layered through the masonry, pergola, kitchen, and landscape: warm light, dimmable circuits, fixtures that disappear. The room you built, lit the right way.

How a project comes together

Our Outdoor Living Design & Build Process

Every project moves through the same four stops. We use them to set expectations early and keep them honest — about budget, timeline, and the finish.

  1. Consultation

A walk of the property and a real conversation about how you actually use the space. Mostly listening.

  2. Design

Material samples on site, layout drawn, scope nailed down, real numbers attached to real items.

  3. Build

The long part. Same family on the site. Weekly updates on progress, weather, and material arrivals.

  4. Reveal

A walkthrough of every detail — how the fire cures, how the lighting controls work, what the masonry needs.
